Originally founded in 1951, March of Dimes Canada has been on the forefront of the disability movement for more than 60 years.  In 2005, the operating name of March of Dimes Canada was registered as a national charitable organization to begin the expansion of our programs and services nationally.

The province-wide Independent Living program offers Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Services, Attendant Care, Peer Support Groups, Supportive Housing Programs and other residential programs.  Funding for services can be provided through Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) and /or Fee for Services basis.

Services are available throughout the province of Ontario and may be provided in the home, community, hospital, workplace or school. As an organization that receives funding through the LHINs, March of Dimes has the unique ability to facilitate a smooth transition into our LHIN-funded programs in the event that third party funding ends.
